Owensboro Public Schools, Heritage Christian School, Grace Christian Academy and Daviess County Public Schools won’t have in person school on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, due to the extreme cold weather and dangerous road conditions. Owensboro Catholic Schools will have a snow day.
OPS
OPS will be hosting a NTI day. OPS’s Central Office will be closed to the public tomorrow as well. Staff should refer to the NTI memo about reporting to their building or not tomorrow. For more information on NTI days, click here.
DCPS
Daviess County Public Schools announced DCPS@Home day. Elementary students will check in with their teacher on Google Meet at 9 AM and refer to their pre-printed packets or visit here for your DAY #1 assignments.
Middle and high school students will follow the Google Meet schedule provided by their teachers. Assignments for Day #1 are posted here.
OCS
Owensboro Catholic Schools will not be using an NTI day. Instead the school will use a snow day.
HCS
Heritage Christian School will be hosting an NTI day on Tuesday. A schedule for the students has been emailed to listed guardians.
GCA
GCA will not meet for in-person school on Tuesday, January 16, but will have virtual instruction instead.
