The Owensboro Symphony Youth and String Orchestras will perform their annual Dinner Concert on Monday evening at Blessed Mother Catholic Church Parish Hall.
The Youth Orchestra is under the direction of Mark Hatlestad. Hatlestad is Principal Viola in the Owensboro Symphony and Evansville Philharmonic, Artist-in-Residence at the University of Evansville’s Eykamp String Quartet, and has a private studio for motivated young violists.
The String Orchestra is led by Adrienne Vallandingham. She has been teaching her studio of violin students at the Owensboro Symphony Academy for eight years and serves as Education Coordinator and Librarian for the Owensboro Symphony.
The concert will begin at 6 p.m. in the Parish Hall, located at 601 East 23rd Street. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased in advance here or by calling 270-684-0661.
