Daviess County Parks & Recreation opened its spray parks for the summer today, while the City of Owensboro’s spray parks will open Saturday. Spray parks are free and open to children of all ages.
County spray parks
Daily hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following county spray parks:
Horse Fork Creek Park

Yellow Creek Park

Panther Creek Park
5160 Wayne Bridge Road
City spray parks
Daily hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the following city spray parks:
Smothers Park
199 West Veterans Boulevard
Legion Park
3047 Legion Park Drive
Kendall-Perkins Park
1201 West 5th Street
Additionally, Combest Pool will open Saturday. Hours are 12-4:30 p.m Monday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $5 per person, while children 2 and under are admitted free.
Cravens Pool will not be opening on this weekend due to several delays surrounding the electrical design, the stainless pool body production, and weather. An opening date has not been announced.
