The Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance is hosting a first-time homebuyer workshop at 6 p.m. on May 2. The free workshop will be hosted by the City of Owensboro Community Development Department.
The event will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2815 Old Hartford Road.
Designed to empower prospective home buyers with essential knowledge and guidance, this informative session will cover the basics of homeownership, managing credit and budgeting, securing a mortgage, navigating the home search process, understanding home inspections and insurance, as well as title searches, closing procedures, available down payment assistance and first-time home buyer programs.
Families are welcome to attend, and snacks will be provided. Interested participants are encouraged to reserve their seats.
