Geary Thomas, 63, of Owensboro, and 5 others were arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of methamphetamines and marijuana Monday morning after Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
At 8 a.m., DCSO reported they found an ongoing drug trafficking operation, including methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana (spice), prescription pills, plastic baggies, glass pipes, scales and various types of drug paraphernalia located in the house. All evidence has been seized.
Six suspects were also at the residence during the execution. These suspects and their charges are below.
DCSO reports this is the second time the house on the 1600 Block of West 3rd Street has had a search warrant. In September 2023, the Special Investigations Unit conducted a drug trafficking investigation involving Thomas, which resulted in SIU, Patrol, K9, and other agencies executing a search warrant.
During that operation, 12 suspects were arrested with various charges, including outstanding warrants and drug offenses, after trafficking methamphetamine and other drugs.
