Owensboro Community & Technical College is offering students a “one-stop enrollment opportunity” every Tuesday through August 6. OCTC officials said the events are designed for the busy adult learner juggling job and family responsibilities.
The sessions will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each Tuesday. The college will have staff to help with one-on-one advising regarding enrollment, financial aid, scheduling, and other items prospective students need to complete for the fall semester. The goal is to make the enrollment process as simple and fast as possible.
“We know many students are anxious about college, so we want to relieve that anxiety and try to make the process as easy as possible,” said Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President.
OCTC will host express enrollment at the main campus, located at 4800 New Hartford Road, in the Campus Center. Anyone interested in applying and enrolling for the fall semester can walk in or schedule a personal appointment by calling 270-686-4418 or email [email protected] to schedule an online or phone meeting.
“While we are making a collaborative effort for express enrollment days, we want to encourage anyone ready to visit the START Center any day or schedule an appointment at their convenience,” said Dr. Ashleigh Crowe, OCTC Vice President of Student Affairs. “For those interested in aid, you can apply online at studentaid.gov/ or bring a copy of 2023 tax returns, and we will have staff to help guide you through the process.”
