A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 26th Street and East Byers Avenue, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
According to OPD Public Information Officer Mark Hammonds, the female was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He said the severity of her injuries are unknown at this time.
The roadway is open but officers are continuing to investigate the incident.
