A “several-day drug investigation” in Central City led to the arrest of an Owensboro woman, according to authorities.
According to an announcement from the Central City Police Department, Mildred Cole was attempting to transport and distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl pills to Central City.
Cole was arrested on July 30 and transported to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center for the following charges, according to CCPD:
- Public intoxication — controlled substance
- Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree (> or = 2 grams of methamphetamine) — 2nd or greater offense
- Trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl) — 1st offense
