Glenn Funeral Home has launched “Glenn’s Give & Go,” a new community-focused event designed to quickly and easily support local nonprofit organizations. This November, the event will collect supplies for the Daviess County Animal Shelter to help care for animals in need.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 6, the community is invited to participate in a drive-thru donation event at the Glenn Funeral Home parking lot at 900 Old Hartford Road. Simply pull up to the designated collection area, and an attendant will collect the donations.
For those unable to attend the event, donations can be dropped off inside Glenn Funeral Home during regular business hours until November 11.
Items needed for donation include:
• Used towels
• Small blankets
• Dog treats
• Dog rawhide
• Small cat and dog beds
• Purina Dog Chow
• Canned kitten food
• Dry kitten food
• Dawn dish detergent
• Laundry detergent
• Fabric softener
