RecruitMilitary and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) are teaming up to host the Western Region Virtual Career Fair for Veterans today. The event will offer veterans a unique chance to connect with more than 30 companies actively seeking to hire.
The event is being held online on October 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific Time.
The event is open to all transitioning military members, veterans, military spouses, and dependents. Registration is free and can be completed online.
A release from DAV said veterans often bring a wealth of expertise and skills from their military service, making them valuable assets across various industries. The goal is to assist veterans in navigating what can be a challenging employment transition.
“RecruitMilitary is proud to break down barriers for veteran employment and empower veterans and their families with career opportunities,” said Chris Stevens, Senior Vice President at RecruitMilitary and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He added that the virtual career fair provides veterans direct access to companies eager to tap into their talents.
