One person died in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West 2nd Street and Ewing Road, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
Authorities say preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle was traveling westbound on West 2nd when it collided with another vehicle that was heading southbound on Ewing Road. The driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
OPD Accident Reconstruction Investigators have responded to the scene to continue the investigation.
The identities of those involved are being withheld at this time pending family notification.
