Authorities have identified an Owensboro woman as the victim of a deadly fire that occurred late Sunday night in Ohio County.
Officials have identified the deceased as 19-year-old Kaitlynn Newton of Owensboro.
According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, central dispatch received a call at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Sunday regarding a house fire with a victim still in the residence in the 100 block of Bisher Road.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation. OCSO was assisted by the Centertown Fire Department, Hartford Fire Department, and the Ohio County Coroner’s Office.
No other information is available at this time.
