The Kroger store on Starlite Drive has reopened following storm damage from Saturday morning’s severe hailstorm, according to a post on the store’s Facebook page.
“Thank you to all our amazing employees, we are now open,” the post read.
The Wesleyan Park Plaza location on Frederica Street remains closed as of Saturday afternoon. A store employee confirmed the closure over the phone but said there was no timeline for reopening.
Both stores temporarily closed after the early morning storm brought heavy hail and wind through the area, causing damage across Owensboro.
