Here’s the latest on which school systems in the area have announced updates regarding closures, NTI days, or in-person classes for Friday.
Daviess County Public Schools
Daviess County Public Schools will use an NTI Day on Friday. The message posted on the DCPS Facebook page reads as follows:
DCPS Families,
Thank you to our families, students, and DCPS staff for your understanding and flexibility during this challenging week. Our thoughts and prayers remain with those affected by the flooding across our community.
With every road that opens, we find two that are closing. Due to the overall impact of road closures across varying parts of our county, the impact those closures are creating for many students, and the expected additional rain this afternoon/night, we will be operating using DCPS@Home #9 tomorrow, Friday, April 11.
Elementary students will log in with their teacher on Google Meet at 9 a.m., refer to their pre-printed packets, or visit www.dcps.org/athome for their DAY #9 assignments. Middle and high school students will follow the Google Meet schedule provided by their teachers. Assignments for DAY #9 are posted at www.dcps.org/athome.
