With the ongoing flooding threat in western Daviess County, the Emergency Management Agency is making more sandbags available today and tomorrow.
Residents may visit Panther Creek Park at 5160 Wayne Bridge Road or the Crittenden Street entrance of Mulzer’s Downtown Yard to get sandbags.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on April 8 and 9. Bring a shovel and be prepared to fill your own sandbags. Officials ask that you only take what you need for this flooding event.
The sandbags are reserved for Daviess County residents who need to protect their homes and businesses from rising floodwater.
