Local school districts will once again provide free meals to anyone age 18 and under during summer break, with dozens of fixed locations and mobile sites planned. Meals must be eaten on site this year, meaning drive-through pickup is no longer available. Here’s what to know.
Daviess County Public Schools
The DCPS Food Service Department is holding its Summer Feeding Kickoff on May 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Daviess County High School football field. Free meals will be available for anyone under the age of 18. There will be a variety of booths with free food vendors, games, prizes, and more.
