Apollo, Owensboro Catholic, and Trinity (Whitesville) all won, while McLean County and Owensboro both lost.

Apollo 10, South Spencer (Rockport), IN 2

Abie Butterworth went 1-4 with four RBIs in the E-Gals’ 10-2 win over South Spencer. Arianna Ramirez and Emersyn Bullington both drove in runs, while Liza Page went 3-4. Mollie Julian allowed one run over five innings, striking out seven, while Hannah Holder pitched two innings in relief.

Warren Central 5, McLean County 3

Kaydence Stokes and Leah Searcy both drove in runs, while the Lady Cougars fell to Warren Central 5-3. Search reached base three times, while Maci Geel had the team’s only other hit. Geel started in the circle, allowing one earned run over 2 2/3 innings, while Ava McCarty pitched in relief.

Bowling Green 8, Owensboro 7

Leading 6-2 early over Bowling Green, the Lady Devils fell just short, losing to Bowling Green 8-7. Alyssa Rhineburger went 2-4 with five RBIs and a homer, while Hessi Johnson went 3-4 with two RBIs. Addison Hill reached base four times and scored twice. Rhineburger threw a complete game, allowing six earned runs over 6 1/3 innings, striking out three.

Owensboro Catholic 6, Breckinridge County 1

Harper Latham drove in a pair of runs, and Anna Beth Hamilton went 2-4 in the Lady Aces’ 6-1 win over Breckinridge County. Carley Brey, Maren Riney, and Emma Riney all drove in a run, while Tyranda Stuart went 1-4. Railey Scott threw a complete game in the circle, allowing one earned run over seven innings, striking out eight.

Trinity (Whitesville) 7, Grayson County 5

Trailing 4-1 entering the bottom of the sixth, the Lady Raiders scored six runs to beat Grayson County 7-5. Ella Morris and Sophie Hatfield combined for three hits and four RBIs, while Sarah Payne and Aubree McKinney both drove in runs. Hatfield threw a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs over seven innings, striking out seven.
