It was an off night for the coverage teams as Apollo, Owensboro Catholic, and Trinity (Whitesville) all lost.
Henderson County 11, Apollo 3
Apollo gave up five runs in the second inning and never fully recovered, losing to Henderson County 11-3. Arianna Ramriez and Madalyn Roberts both drove in runs, while Liza Page went 1-4. Hannah Holder allowed six earned runs over two innings, while Mollie Julian pitched five innings in relief.
Central Hardin 6, Owensboro Catholic 5
Trailing 6-2 later, the Lady Aces scored three runs in the top of the sixth, but were unable to accomplish the comeback, losing to Central Hardin 6-5. Anna Hamilton went 3-3 with three RBIs, while Emma Riney and Lily Logsdon combined for three hits and two RBIs. Railey Scott started in the circle, allowing four earned runs over four innings, while Lily Medley pitched two innings in relief.
Butler County 6, Trinity (Whitesville) 3
Despite outhitting Butler County 11-8, the Lady Raiders fell to Butler County 6-3. Emersyn Beyke and Lucy Hallmark combined for three hits and three RBIs, while Ella Morris went 3-4. Sophie Hatfield started in the circle, allowing one earned run over six innings, striking out nine. Ella Morris pitched the seventh, giving up two unearned runs.
