Encore Musicals has announced its 2026 season, featuring productions ranging from heartfelt stories to fairy-tale fun for all ages. The lineup includes Smoke on the Mountain, The Spitfire Grill, Shrek: The Musical, and Tuck Everlasting.
The season opens with Smoke on the Mountain, which will be performed Feb. 27-March 1 at Third Baptist Church. The production follows the Sanders Family as they bring harmony, humor, and heartfelt faith to the stage.
The Spitfire Grill is scheduled for May 15-17 at the Jack T. Wells Activity Center. The musical focuses on themes of redemption and community, telling the story of a small town and the people whose lives intersect through shared challenges and second chances.
From July 24-26, Encore Musicals will present Shrek: The Musical at the RiverPark Center. Based on the animated film, the stage adaptation brings familiar characters and songs to the stage in a reimagined fairy tale setting.
The season concludes with Tuck Everlasting, running Nov. 13-15 at the Jack T. Wells Activity Center. Adapted from the novel of the same name, the musical explores questions of mortality and choice after a young girl encounters a family that has discovered a way to live forever.
Season tickets for the four-show lineup are available through Feb. 26 for $75. Season ticket holders receive preferred seating and avoid individual venue fees.
