It was an eventful day for the coverage teams as McLean County and Owensboro Catholic both won.

Trailing 3-1 early, the Cougars scored three runs in the top of the second and added four more in the third en route to a 14-10 win over Lloyd Memorial. Jayden Taylor finished 2-3 with a homer and three RBIs, Corbin Martin went 2-5 with two RBIs, and Jaelin Groves and Kaysen Bozarth combined for five hits and five RBIs. Martin started on the mound, allowing five earned runs over five innings, striking out five, while Layden Bozarth and Taylor both pitched in relief.
Owensboro Catholic 5, Hickman County 0
Mason Russelburg went 2-3 with three RBIs to power the Aces past Hickman County 5-0. Karson White went 2-3, Myles Grant finished 2-2 with an RBI, and Drew Miles went 2-3. On the mound, Landon Marks threw three shutout innings, while Cal Murphy and Jackson Bachmeier combined for four shutout innings, striking out three.
