In a pair of 9th District games, Apollo walked off Owensboro, while the Aces shutout the Panthers. In other action, the Raiders cruised past the Owensboro Knights Christian.

Tied 3-3 entering the bottom of the 8th, Jagger Pate hit a walk-off single to power the Eagles to a 4-3 win over Owensboro. Ryleigh Logan finished 1-4, with an RBI, and Ty Lillpop scored twice and went 1-3. Ty Lillpop started on the mound, throwing five no-hit innings and allowing two runs, while Ross Milburn pitched in relief.
For Owensboro, Dax Garrison and Ty Ashley had the team’s two hits, while Eli Hampton scored a run and walked twice. Jaxon Fogle gave up one unearned run over four innings, while Jordan Quesnell and Nash Miller both came on in relief.
Owensboro Catholic 10, Daviess County 0
Mason Russelburg and Jaxson White combined for four hits and five RBIs to power the Aces past Daviess County 10-0. Mason Moser went 1-1 with two RBIs, and Alex Hood drove in a run. Lucas Patton and Lucas Murphy combined for five shutout innings and five strikeouts.
For the Panthers, Blake Huff went 2-2, while John Rue and Rylan Clemons both had hits.
Trinity (Whitesville) 18, Owensboro Knights Christian 7
The Raiders scored nine runs in the bottom of the fifth as they beat the Owensboro Knights Christian 18-7. Kayin Howard and Harrison Barnett combined for three hits and seven RBIs, while Nate Terry and Wade Burch both drove in a pair of runs. Brennan Merritt started on the mound, allowing two earned runs over 3 2/3 innings, while Burch pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief.
