Kentucky State Police are searching for an inmate who escaped from Dismas Charities in Owensboro on Friday afternoon.
According to KSP Post 16, Angela S. Long, 45, left the facility around 5:30 p.m. on April 10. She was last seen entering a black car.
KSP described Long as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds, with long straight brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a light blue T-shirt, and gray sneakers at the time of her escape.
Authorities said Long was serving a sentence for theft and substance abuse-related charges.
