It’s Primary Election day, and OT is providing what voters need to know — including key details on voting locations, free rides to the polls, a sample ballot, and candidate info.

We’ll be streaming live from our studio — complete with a desk anchor breaking down the votes on air as they come in. When and where to vote
Voters can cast a ballot at any of the county’s 14 polling locations today from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those locations include:

The drop box for absentee ballots will be located in Room 107 at the Daviess County Clerk’s Office.

Below is a sample ballot showing all primary races. Voters will only see the races for their precinct when on their respective ballots at the polls.
Candidate bios
For contested primaries in most Daviess County races, candidates were provided an opportunity to work with OT to produce a 150-word biography at no cost, with optional expanded versions available. In select races without a primary, candidates were offered the option to submit a 150-word bio. For the remaining races — including those in Hancock and McLean counties, as well as state and federal offices — this section includes headshots for candidates who provided them.
As with all OT election coverage, the goal is to present clear, factual information in a consistent format, giving voters an accessible way to learn about the individuals seeking office. Additional coverage will continue online and in future print editions to help readers stay informed ahead of Election Day.
