CENTRAL CITY, KY., Wylena Pendleton, 73, of Central City passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on April 22, 1948. Wylena has been a member of Victory Temple Church of God in Christ since childhood and was a homemaker. She loved flowers, her family especially nieces and nephews. Wylena was an avid UK fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Sherman Pendleton and Marybell Pendleton, 4 brothers Donald Wright, Jackie Owens, James Reynolds and Edward Pendleton 5 sisters Patricia Frazier, Annette Ellis, Sharon Drake, Brenda Kay Wright and Karen Pendleton.
Survivors include 2 sisters Delores (Lois) Saulsberry of Central City and Wanda Jean Pendleton of Louisville, 3 brothers Bobby Wright of Louisville, Larry (Mary Ann) Pendleton of Sacramento, and Ronnie (Debra) Pendleton of Bowling Green, a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11am – 1pm at the church. Burial in Browder Chapel Cemetery in Browder, KY. Rev. Otis Cunningham Officiating and Elder Rickey Walker Eulogist. Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church of Central City, KY.
Facemask are required for the visitation and funeral service.
