BOWLING GREEN – Dannie Edwin Smith, 73, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 7:46AM at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. Mr. Smith was born September 29, 1948, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired boilermaker and welder with TVA, and a member of Union Chapel Church. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Pauline Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Charlesetta Robinson Smith; daughters, Phylissa Dunlap, Ivana Lee (Tommy) Morgan, and Charity (Kyle) Goddard; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 12:00 noon at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester, with Bro. Robert Lindsay officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
