Rose L. Dawson, 81, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
Rose was born in Rockport, Indiana on April 11, 1940 to the late Carrie (Cotton) Nichols.
Rose was a member of Lakewood Country Club (now The Rustic) in Rockport, Indiana. She was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Max Harold Dawson; and her sister, Judy Ketcham.
Rose is survived by her children, Brent Dawson and his wife, Jennie of Rockport, IN; and Brian Dawson and his fiancée, Jessica Obermeier, of Rockport, IN; her grandchildren, Stephen Dawson and his wife, Holly, of Tell City, IN; and Phillip Dawson of Tell City, IN; her great grandchildren, Lindsey, Makayla, and McKenzie; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rex and Rose Dawson of Danville, KY.
Services are 7 P.M. Friday, March 18, 2022 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana, with Father Ron Kreilein officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
