GREENVILLE, KY., Holbert Walton “Walt” Grace, 81, of Greenville passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Greenville Nursing Home. He was born in Greenville on November 30, 1940, the son of Holbert Grace and Alline Sherrod Grace. He was a self-employed truck driver and owned Walt Grace Enterprises, Inc. He also owned Blue Moon Car Wash for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ina Grace, and his son Kenny Grace.
He is survived by his son-in-law James (Kathleen) Daugherty of Claremont, IL., 4 grandchildren James Daugherty III, Chandra Moudy, Destiny Currier, and Jacob Daugherty, 4 great grandchildren Keaton Daugherty, Kylie Daugherty, Lillian Daugherty, and Alline Currier, a brother Terry (Grace) Grace of Owensboro, a sister Sharon Grace of Powderly.
Visitation will be at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville Friday, March 25, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26 at 11:00 AM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY conducted by Rev. Tom Stovall. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
