Hunter Todd Henderson

July 30, 1996 - October 7, 2018

Hunter Todd Henderson, 22, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 30, 1996 to Todd and Christi Henderson. Hunter attended high school at Daviess County, where he played the snare drum in the band, before he graduated in 2015. After high school, he became a member of the IBEW Local #1701. His electrical apprenticeship and being of member of the IBEW were both very important to him. Hunter was baptized into the Catholic faith just this year, and a member of St. Martin Parrish. He enjoyed singing, playing drums, and all animals. Hunter loved all things outdoors, whether it be fishing or hunting. He spent every second he could with his fiancée and family, especially his cousins Bailey, Garrett, Abi Jo, Aaden, and Abel. Hunter will be remembered as someone who was a friend to everyone and loved to make others laugh. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Hunter was preceded in death by his mother, Christi Kay Henderson; his great-grandfather, who he also considered his best friend, Henry Roach; great-grandparents, Edna Mae and Bob Henderson, and Joe and Mary Slaven.

He is survived by his fiancée, Anna Margaret Lopez; father, Todd Henderson; grandparents, Danny and Kathi Roach, Kay and Jay Basham, and Bob and Sue Henderson; great-grandmother, Mary Ruth Roach; great-aunt, Dana Roach;  aunts and uncles, Aaron and Amy Roach and Mike and January Henderson; several cousins and close friends.

The funeral mass will be 10am Thursday at St. Martin Catholic Church. Father Pat Bittel will be officiating. Visitation will be 4pm until 8pm Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, and there will be no public visitation on Thursday. After the funeral mass, burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
