Henry Frasher Moore

June 19, 1931 - October 8, 2018

Henry Frasher Moore, 87, of Owensboro passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mr. Moore was born June 19, 1931 in Hopkins County to the late Henry B. Moore and Noreen Wilson Moore. Henry farmed part-time early in life then later worked and retired from Local 181 Operating Engineers as a crane operator. He loved his family and his God and shared his faith freely with all who would listen. Henry was a compassionate and outgoing person and a Deacon Emeritus at Hall Street Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed golf, fishing, billiards, and shuffleboard and taking vacations to Florida every winter.
Mr. Moore was also preceded in death by his stepdad, Reuben Jennings; sister, Mildred Bowles; and an infant grandson, Shaun Frazier Moore.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 65 years, Norma Jean Stearman Moore; daughter, Debora K. Moore Price and husband Gerald of Utica; sons, Tim Moore and wife Sheila of Owensboro, David Moore and wife Terry of Nicholasville, Philip Moore and wife Charlyn also of Owensboro; sister Mavis Sue Beasley (Glen); brothers, David Lee Moore (Shirley) and William Ray Moore (Dora Ann); six grandchildren: Kelly Moore, Jason Moore, Alex Price Drury (T.J.), Ryan Moore (Jamie), Cameron Moore, and Amy Moore; three great grandchildren: Micah Moore, Zeke Drury, and Rosalie Moore; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the doctors, home health workers, and all the staff at Heartford House.

Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 12 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Greg Faulls officiating. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm and Friday from 1:00 pm till the service.
