Margleen Hawes, 86, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Morgantown on November 9, 1931 to late Lonnie Embry and Mallie Lee Embry. She was retired from General Electric where she worked in the tube department for 22 years. Margleen was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Doll Club. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and antiques.
Along with her parents, Margleen was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Earl Hawes, and her sisters, Kathleen Woosley and Geraleen Embry.
She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Hawes and Rebecca (William) Graham both of Owensboro, granddaughters: Leslie Graham, Sarah Graham, Molly Graham; and 2 great-granddaughters.
There will be no services or visitation.
