Ronald Earl Basham, 72 of Hartford, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Ohio County Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1949 in Madisonville to the late Earl Basham and Catherine Phelps Watson. Ron was a member of New Assembly Church and the Retired Carpenters Union Local #1076. He worked as a master electrician for Armstrong Coal Company.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Basham; a son at heart, Stacy Basham and a grandson, Little Joe Casey.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his son, James (Jamie) Basham of Owensboro and eight grandchildren, Jada Basham, James Crisp, Layla Crisp, Marley Wathen, Sabrina Casey, Jeffrey Casey, Sonnie Witt and Kaiser Witt.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2022 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Lealin Geary officiating. Friends may visit with Ron’s family from 1-4 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
