Elvis Carroll Jones, 70 of Hartford, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born on May 11, 1951, in Ohio County to the late Mitchell and Ina Lucille Kessinger Jones. Elvis retired from Nestaway and from Laborers’ Local 1392. He was a member of the Centertown Masonic Lodge #714 F&AM and the Rizpah Shriners. Elvis loved UK Basketball, hunting, fishing, gardening, piddling in the garage and spending time with his grandkids.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Jackson Jones and one son in law, Chad Arnold.
He leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories his wife of 30 years, Darlene Lunsford Jones of Hartford; four children, Amanda (David) Muffett of Beaver Dam, Matthew Jones of Hartford, Jennifer (Greg) Dockery of Hardinsburg and Casey (Jerrod) Allen of Beaver Dam; one brother, Arvin (Laura) Jones of Beaver Dam and three sisters, Virginia (Fred) Southard of Beaver Dam, Ann (Stanley) Hayse of Beaver Dam and Leona Keown of Sebree. Elvis was blessed with five grandchildren, Dakota Muffett, Justin Boling, Miles Arnold, Jonathan Boling, and Bennett Allen.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2022, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Elvis’ family from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Sunday.
