CENTRAL CITY – Mary E. Schiff, 91, of Central City, died Monday, May 2, 2022, at 12:42PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Schiff was born January 10, 1931, in Muhlenberg County. She was a retired seamstress at Weinbach’s in Evansville, Indiana, and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Cora Eades; son, Ricky Whittinghill; daughter, Carlotta Micklos; three brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Sissie) Whittinghill of Bremen; granddaughters, Penny Whittinghill, Melissa Boldry, Barbara (Scott) Simpson, Kim (Greg) Hallum, Erica (Tommy) Stewart, and Mindy (Bo) Masden; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Chad Baggett officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
