Norma Jean Lucas Quiggins, age 80 of Custer, KY passed away May 7, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Custer, KY on November 18, 1941, daughter of the late Murtha and Olis Allen Lucas. She attended Constantine Community House of Prayer. Norma was a CNA for over 20 years. During this time she worked at several nursing homes where her passion for caring for the elderly was her joy. Everyone who knew Norma Jean was aware of her fondness for Conway Twitty. She attended every concert that was close by. After retirement, her great grandchildren spent lots of time with her and became her pride and joy. She and Leroy would care for one, two or all of them. She would let them stay with her any time they wanted – she never told them no.
Norma is survived by Leroy, her husband of 67 years.

4 grandchildren: Ashley (Adam) Thomas and Blake Quiggins of Horse Cave, KY, Brittany (Kelly) Tucker of McDaniels, KY and Jessica (Justin) Drane of Custer, KY
7 great grandchildren: Layne Miller, Reagan, Kolby and Jenna Tucker, Kalyn Norris, Jaxon Quiggins and Tatum Thomas
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 4-8 PM and Wednesday after 8:30 AM.
