Emma Gene Jaggers, age 81 of Versailles, KY passed away May 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Wolfe County, KY on September 28, 1940, daughter of the late Maude Howard and Leslie Byrd Neff. Emma retired from Gates Rubber Company where she was an accountant. She later worked for Macy’s in Lexington, KY, where she met many new friends. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and visiting the casino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Margie Still, Kathleen Wheatley, Betty Ann Bell, Lee, Denzil, Wendel, Jimmy, L B, Kenneth, Bobby and Bill Neff.
Emma is survived by 2 daughters: Cynthia (Mike) Collins of Bardstown, KY and Lisa (Clyde) Kennedy of Hardinsburg, KY
1 son: Jason Jaggers of Lexington, KY
5 grandchildren: Josh (Beverly) Dowell, Jesse (Shelley) Dowell, Jessica (Charles) Phillips, Matthew (Heather) Kennedy and Luke (Bethany) Kennedy
10 great grandchildren: Kaden, Isaac, Logan, Lily, Ava, Olivia, Peyton, Jackson, Levi and Henry
1 brother: Jack (Mary Rita) Neff of Hardinsburg, KY
many nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 12 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Thursday.
