Ramona “Monie” Allen, 69, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born June 20, 1952 in Kissimmee, Florida to the late Alfred Noah Munson and Helen Deliah Wooten Munson. Monie was a beautician but made a loving home for her family by working hard on the farm, gardening and just tinkering in the yard. She also enjoyed genealogy being especially proud of her pioneering family from Florida.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Jerry Milton Allen; infant brother, Dale Munson; brother, Alfred Edward “Bull” Munson and sisters, Betty Ann Tew and Joann Harpke.
Monie leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children, Arsula Marie (Chris) Emmick, Jerry “Jason” (Amanda) Allen and Mechille Allen all of Hartford; five grandchildren, Braden Allen, Riley Allen, Jacob Emmick, Lucas Emmick and Elizabeth Emmick; two step-grandchildren, Raice Hunter and Kailee Hunter; two brothers-in-laws, Ron Allen and Larry Allen and sister-in-law, Idell Munson.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Utica, Kentucky with Rev. Gary Munson officiating. William L. Danks have been entrusted with arrangements.
