Paul Emanuel Whitworth, Jr., 67, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born in Daviess County, KY, he was the son of the late Paul Sr. and Sarah Draper Whitworth and was retired from Owensboro Public Schools where he worked as a custodian. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Mr. Whitworth enjoyed spending time with his companion, Julia Hawkins, music, movies, and was a NASCAR, UK, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans fan.
Surviving are his companion, Julia Hawkins; a sister, Betty Bartlett of Owensboro; a niece, Jennifer Martin; great-nephews, Jack and Jordan Martin; Julia’s children, Matt Hawkins of Houston, TX and Mandy (Ryan) Koger of Owensboro; and Julia’s grandchildren, Alyssa, Charlie and McKynlee.
Graveside service will be 11:30 Monday, October 24, 2018 in Resurrection Chapel, Resurrection Cemetery. There will no visitation.
