Owensboro – C. Michael Ray, age 71 of Owensboro died on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 5:22AM at his residence. He was born on August 14, 1950 in Muhlenberg County. He was retired from G.E. and he was a member of Central City Church Of Christ. He enjoyed Watching UK Basketball, Bowling, Karaoke, coaching his kids in basketball and baseball, and he loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Snelling Ray, Son Bradlee Lin Ray, Adoptive Parents Lin and Zadie Louise Ray, Adoptive Brother – Maurice Shively, and birth parents Carlie and Erna Maxwell.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Joyce Ray, Sons Kevin Michael Ray (Shirley) of Nortonville, Clinton Allen Ray (Destiny) of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Nicholas Omar Ray (Danielle) of Owensboro. Grandchildren Joseph Ray, Braden Ray, Cooper Ray, Carlie Ray,
Cassidy Ray, Emma Vann, Isabelle Vann, Skylar Ray, and Tucker Ray. Siblings Wayne (Cheryl) Sprague of Auburn, Illinois, Monty Roberts (Bonnie) of Louisville, Theresa Adkins (Morris) of Depoy, Linda Miller (Steve) of Rockford, Illinois, Brenda Ray of Rockford, Illinois, Johnny Ray of Madisonville, Bobby Ray (Joyce) of Earlington.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 23, 2022 at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Mr. Kirby Duncan Officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.
