Charles Louis Goff, III age 91 of Falls of Rough, KY passed away May 23, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Morehead, KY on June 3, 1930, son of the late Charles Louis Goff, II and Derl Elizabeth Cress Goff. Charles retired from Vermeer Manufacturing as a territory manager after 30 years of service. His second job was on the farm, which he truly loved. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Charles was an avid UK basketball fan, he had fun fishing with his grandchildren and enjoyed his morning meetings in local restaurants at the table of knowledge with his friends. Above all, Charles loved his family and they were devoted to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emma Tess Goff, sons – Charlie and Tommy Goff and his brother James Edward Goff.
Charles is survived by his son Robert (Kim) Goff of Falls of Rough, KY
3 daughters: Betty Rose (Ralph) Nash of Hawesville, KY; Theressa (Brad) Hinton of Axtel, KY and Frances (Jimmy) Miller of Hardinsburg, KY
2 daughters-in-law: Cathy Goff and Claudia Goff
21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 expected in 2022.
2 nieces, 1 nephew and 2 cousins
Funeral services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday after 8:30 AM.
