Ricky L. Madison, age 67 of McDaniels, KY passed away June 1, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on March 7, 1955, son of the late Esker and Lillie Violet Johnson Madison. Ricky was a retired machine operator with Phillip Morris Tobacco Company and a member of Freezion General Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing. He could sing and play the guitar. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He looked forward to time spent with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Linda Lou, Larry Lee and Edward Glenn Madison.

daughter – Christina Cortez (Jason McDonald) of Louisville, KY
2 grandchildren: Gavin Anthony Cortez (Alyssa Michelle Clark) and Ava Grace Cortez
1 brother – Darrell Wayne (Joyce) Madison of Caneyville, KY
2 sisters – Patricia Ann Whitworth of Hudson, KY and Joyce LaVerne Barnes of Leitchfield, KY

Funeral services will be held at Hudson Community Church on Monday at 11 AM with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, 1-7 PM and Monday after 8:30 AM.
