Bonnie Sue Whitaker, age 70 of Ekron, KY passed away June 10, 2022 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. She was born in Louisville, KY on January 13, 1952, daughter of the late Sherman and Evelyn Smith. She enjoyed being outdoors and some of her favorite pastimes were fishing, hiking and her working in her flower garden. She loved her dogs Brandy and Dakota.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry Whitaker and her brother Donald E. Smith.
Bonnie is survived by her son Josh (Jodie) Grant of Ekron, KY and daughter Angela (Mike) Whitaker of Irvington, KY
1 grandchild: Kayla Marie Grant
1 sister-in-law: Rebecca A. Smith of Jemison, AL
Graveside services will be held at Harned Cemetery on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11 AM. There will be no visitation. All times are central.
