POWDERLY – Doris Mae Lee, 81, of Powderly, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 1:33PM at her home. Mrs. Lee was born December 13, 1940, in Hammond, Indiana. She was a retired administrative assistant with Respite Care Services. She loved nature, flowers, and animals. She was an artist, was very compassionate, and was an excellent seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Matilda McNeil; the love of her life, Clyde Watson; and sister, Lois Doan.
She is survived by her children, Julie Watson, Lois (Lamar) Sharp, Mike Kingma, Lisa Johnson, and Laura (Scott) Lee; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Chase Thompson officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday after 11:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
