Donald E. “Donnie” Greenwell, 53, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 28, 1968 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Ronald Greenwell Sr. and June Williams Greenwell.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vernon and Carrie Ashby William; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Tipmore Greenwell; his father, Ronald Greenwell Sr., and a niece, Sarah Katlyn Greenwell.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Rachel Greenwell of Beaver Dam; his mother, June Greenwell of Beaver Dam; one brother, Ronald “Lee” (Charlene) Greenwell Jr. of McHenry; two sisters, Debra Lynn Rone of Beaver Dam and Sharon Kaye (David) Kelley of Drakesboro; eight nieces and nephews, Nathan McIntyre, Michael Shields, David Lee Kelley, Christopher Kelley, William Kelley, Thomas (Ashley) Greenwell, Matthew (Katie) Greenwell and Adam Greenwell; the entire Cardwell Family and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Pond Run Cemetery in Echols. Friends may visit with his family from 10 AM until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
