Margaret Ellen Williams Miller, age 87 of Harned, KY passed away June 29, 2022 at her residence. She was born in SeRee, KY on January 13, 1935, daughter of the late E M “Jake” and Lura Mae Smiley Williams. Margaret was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir as well as the Red Hat Society. She retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education in 1998 after many years working district wide with the special education classes and as an aide wherever she was needed. Margaret was a former member of the Breckinridge County Community Center where she enjoyed playing golf and making new friends. She enjoyed watching UK basketball, flower gardening, mowing her yard, working jigsaw puzzles and playing solitaire.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands William Howard Miller and Nick Duncan; siblings Opal Pryor, Rosa Leigh Jones, Anna, Earl Ray, Calvin and Harold Lloyd Williams.
Margaret is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Debbie and Joe Wise of Prospect, KY and Brenda and Tim Cherry of Westview, KY
3 grandchildren: Brad Wise and his wife Jessica, Brittany Wise and Sarah Cherry
2 great grandchildren: Mason and Bailey Wise
Funeral services will be held at Hardinsburg United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington, KY. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, 5-7 PM and Saturday at the church from 9 – 11 AM. All times are central.
