CENTRAL CITY – Brenda Marrie Wininger, 73, of Central City, died Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 12:48AM at Continue Care Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville. Mrs. Wininger was born December 14, 1948, in Evansville, Indiana. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was the award winner for the world’s best mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, based on comments from her beloved grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and cookouts. She was an absolute champion even during life’s difficult journey with stage 5 kidney disease. All those that cared for her were well fed and appreciated. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Lovina Seaver; and son, Joseph Noffsinger.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wininger; sons, Tim (Tammy) Noffsinger of Beech Creek and Andy (Jamie) Noffsinger of Greenville; step-children, Carol Wininger, Kim (Gaylan) Spurlin, and Keith Wininger; grandchildren, Jenoah, Jazziah, Dakota, Tyler, and Randy; and several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Alan Harris officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
