Robert Lee Mullins, age 88 of Falls of Rough, KY passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on January 19, 1934, son of the late Everett and Virginia Robards Mullins. He was a retired truck driver and veteran of the United States Army. Robert enjoyed deer hunting – he would buy a hunting license and watch the deer, not shoot them. He liked to travel, bowl, attend yard sales, watch John Wayne movies and collect stuffed animals. He was a regular donor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society. He had a special place in his heart for dogs, especially Lucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Mullins and siblings Sonny, Donnie, Jimmy and Jerry Mullins, Joyce McLean.
Robert is survived by 11 children: Steven Robert Mullins of Arizona; Mark (Connie) Mullins of Leitchfield, KY; Dale Mullins of Texas; Donnie Moore of Bloomfield, KY; Kenny Moore of Taylorsville, KY; Jeff Moore of Indiana; Greg Moore of Louisville, KY; Jill Key of Falls of rough, KY; Kerri Mullins of Washington; Jennifer (Todd) Saylor of Brandenburg, KY and Jay Witten
1 brother: Tommy Mullins of Corydon, IN
several grandchildren including John Michael, Charlie and Thomas Saylor; Carl Key, Jr and Tiffani Carnmer
several great grandchildren including Ariel Lynnae, Christian Thomas and Macquaiela Alexander
many nieces and nephews
In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Mullins, the family has chosen cremation with no services.
