Janice Sue Whitehouse, 76, of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born April 7, 1946 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Antney Jackson Daugherty and Livona Burden Daugherty. Janice retired from Cowden’s and was of the Baptist Faith.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Leon Whitehouse on January 3, 2016; one daughter, Paticia Sue Cardwell and one sister, Margaret Daugherty.
Janice leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Leon (Lisa) Whitehouse of Horse Branch; seven grandchildren, Kristin Geary, Patrick (Amber) Cardwell, Nikki (Jassi) Singh, Dakoda Cardwell, AJ (Erin) Whitehouse, Felicia (Corey) Logsdon and Jessie Whitehouse; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Antney (Elaine) Daugherty of Morgantown and three sisters, Girthel (JD) Keown of Horse Branch, June Wilson of Louisville and Betty Raley of Hartford.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, August 22, 2022 at Rosine Cemetery in Rosine, Kentucky. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with arrangements.
