Lucille R. Filback Stewart, 90, of Cromwell, Kentucky went to her heavenly home on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born December 5, 1931 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Andrew Harrison Filback and Meck Marie Bryant Filback. Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and member of Mount Pleasant Methodist Church.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hulbert C. Stewart on June 17, 2007; granddaughter, Vickie Sue Geary and 6 siblings, Jessie Filback, Billy Filback, Harry Donald Filback, Katie Ree Arnold, Laura Ellen Evans and JoAnn Johnson.
Mrs. Stewart leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children, Susie (Glennie) Geary of Horse Branch, Bucky Stewart of Cromwell and David (Karen) Filback of Beaver Dam; eight grandchildren, Ray (Kelly) Geary, Amy (Spencer) Holley, Kevin (Jessica) Geary, Larry V. Stewart, Hannah (Brad) Willis, Carla (Noah) Miller, Samantha (Jimmy) Forbes and Tracy (Daniel) Stewart; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, September 2, 2022 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Charles Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Cromwell, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Stewart’s family from 9 AM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
