John Anthony Knight, 74, of Owensboro, passed away September 13, 2022, at Twin Rivers Nursing Home. He was born May 27. 1948, in Daviess County, to the late Ellis and Louise Knight. John was a proud Army veteran who served during the Vietnam war. He was a true patriot and loved God.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Mark Anthony Knight; his siblings, Gordon Knight, Minnie Rose Hagan, Phyllis Jean Cave, Patty Kratzer, and Vernon Knight.
He is survived by his brothers, Daniel (Janice) Knight and William (Bertha) Knight; his sisters, Carolyn Cecil and Jackie Marsh; his children, Judy Owens and Jay Knight; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be12pm Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with visitation beginning at 10am. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
