Mary Frances “Frankie” Patrick Young, 94 of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Heartford House. Frankie was born July 21, 1924 to the late Hobart and Bertha Patrick in Livermore, KY. She will be remembered for her kind, gentle, gracious, and loving spirit. Frankie touched many lives with a smile and a hug that let you know that you were important to her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Bell; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Bell; her sisters, Mae Wainscott, Dorothy Spencer, Doris Woosley, and Ann Wood; her brother, John T. Patrick
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jessica Faye Howard of Owensboro; her son John Mark Bell of Livermore; her 7 grandchildren, Johnna George (Mark), Jarred Howard (Natalie), Janella Redfern (David), Jeff Reynolds (April), Jessica Troutman (Ashley), John Mark Bell II, and Jaclyn Kassinger (Jake); her 17 great grandchildren; and her 1 great-great grandchild.
The service will be 2PM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor Ron Phillips will officiate. The visitation will be 10AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. The burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky c/o Heartford House.
The family would like to thank those from Hillcrest who lovingly cared for her daily needs these last 3 years. A special thanks to Rose, Lisa, Lori, Jennifer, Ray, Brandy, Mia, Karissa, Leeah, and her special friend, Glenda and all who cared for her in any way. The family also wished to praise Heartford House, where she was cared for with such grace and dignity.
